Grus Quartet is a compact group of four interacting spiral galaxies located roughly 70 million light-years away in the southern constellation Grus (the Crane). NGC 7582 is a barred spiral galaxy with a diameter of about 330,000 light years. It is classified as a Seyfert 2 galaxy. It is the brightest member of the Grus Quartet of galaxies. Apparent magnitude 11.37. NGC 7552 is a barred spiral galaxy with two spiral arms, one arm is more prominent than the other, and is about 75,000 light years across. Apparent magnitude 11.2. NGC 7599 is a barred spiral galaxy and is approximately 95,000 light years across. It has a small but not very bright nucleus. Apparent magnitude 11.5. NGC 7590 is a spiral galaxy and its estimated diameter is about 83,700 light-years. It's classified as a Seyfert galaxy, which means it has an exceptionally bright, active nucleus that can outshine its entire galaxy. Apparent magnitude 11.37.
