NGC 5189 IC 4274 Spiral Planetary Nebula is a planetary nebula in the constellation Musca located 3,000 light years away. Seen through the telescope it seems to have an S shape, reminiscent of a barred spiral galaxy. It is characterised by knotty and filamentary structures with bluish lobes. The central star is a rare low-mass Wolf-Rayet type with a mass equal to that of that sun, and is at an advanced stage of evolution. A white dwarf companion has been found orbiting the central star, with a 4.04 day orbital period. Apparent magnitude 10.1.
