Get to know the astrophotographer behind the lens
Capturing the cosmos one photo at a time
My fascination with the night sky began in my early teens, when our dad bought us a 4βinch refractor telescope. That simple gift opened a window to the universe, and Iβve been looking up ever since. My first attempts at astrophotography were humble β a camera pointed at the sky, dozens of exposures, and a long night of stacking in DeepSkyStacker. I avoided using a sky tracker because aligning it felt too fiddly, especially without a bright southern pole star to guide by. For a long time, that kept me from going deeper. Everything changed when I bought a Seestar S50 in 2024. It was a complete game changer. Calibration was effortless, the workflow was intuitive, and the images were astonishing β even under the lightβpolluted skies of Camden. For the first time, capturing deepβsky objects felt accessible rather than complicated. That experience reignited my passion for astrophotography. This site is where I share the results: the galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters that continue to inspire me. If youβre curious about astrophotography but want a simple way to begin, smart telescopes like the Seestar or those from DwarfLab can make the journey far more approachable.
I shoot from Camden (Bortle 5)
