NGC 3603 is a massive star-forming nebula and super star cluster located in the Carina spiral arm of the Milky Way, about 20,000 light-years from Earth. Within the core is the densest concentration of very massive stars in the galaxy. These massive stars burn through their fuel quickly and end their lives in supernova explosions. Apparent magnitude 9.1. NGC 3576 also known as Statue of Liberty Nebula is a bright emission nebula and an active star-forming region in the southern constellation of Carina. It is about 9,000 light-years away from Earth and spans roughly 100 light-years across. The region is also home to a deeply embedded cluster of about 130 young massive stars. Apparent magnitude 9.5.
